We are excited to announce that Northview Heights Early Learning Centre – North York has officially joined the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) System, a partnership established between the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada.
At Northview Heights, we understand that quality childcare plays a crucial role in fostering early childhood development and ensuring the overall well-being of children, particularly while their parents are at work. Our commitment to providing exceptional childcare services is unwavering, and participating in the CWELCC System allows us to enhance our ability to meet the diverse needs of children and families in our community.
The CWELCC initiative aims to make high-quality childcare more accessible, affordable, inclusive, and sustainable. As part of this program, families with children under six years old—including those who turn six between January 1 and June 30 of the same calendar year—will benefit from a reduction in childcare fees. This reduction is designed to ease the financial burden on families and ensure that they can access the care their children require.
Moreover, we want to emphasize that the Ontario childcare fee subsidy program will continue to be available for eligible families, providing additional financial support to those who need it.
